The South Chatham Tackle  Go Pro Camera extension handle has a rod gimbal so it will fit in a boat rod holder, or it can be hand held. This pole was designed built to meet the rigorous conditions of filming in salt water. The pole will extend from 4' to 8' in 6" increments to reach as deep as needed for filming underwater then quickly collapse and slip in a rod holder to catch all the action on deck.

 The pole is constructed of fiberglass and anodized aluminum, all fasteners are stainless steel. This is the same pole we use on our Sea Turtle release equipment.

The pole has a Go Pro camera adapter on the end and will except all Go Pro cameras. 

This adapter will except other brands of cameras and video recorders. If it can mount on a standard tripod it will mount to our adapter.

Now, we include our extension link. We think it is indispensable for our customers who use the handle for taking videos underwater while standing on deck. It allows you to have the camera right side up while you are viewing or recording. It also helps stabilize the camera by allowing you to position the back of the camera against the handle.

 A stainless steel eyebolt has been added to secure the camera to the handle with your lanyard.
