The South Chatham Tackle Reel Winder II plus our popular Super Spooler makes spooling your reels effortless.
Now you can quickly attach your bait casting reels to the adjustable reel seat. By moving the reel forward or backward and up or down to align the center of our bearing-mounted T-handle to the pivot point of your reel crank handle, you can then tie the line from your bulk spool on your Super Spooler to the reel.
Start slowly to make sure everything is working smoothly, then speed it up.
With this tool you can easily use the right type of line for any fishing situation.
Our reel winder works great with fly casting reels as well.
This unit comes with a Super Striper Tool that fits into your electric drill and is used to perform many tasks. Simply screw on to a soda bottle, tape the end of line you wish to remove from reel to the bottle and strip it off. When finished, toss bottle into the recycling bin. If you wish to remove good line and save it place an empty spool on to spool holder and tape line to spool, secure reel and press outer rubber wheel of the Super Striper to spin the empty spool and strip line. Using the Braid Aid, you can also hold the tag end of rigging wire while keeping tension on the spool, preventing the wire from springing off.
